NETWORK MARKETING - A NUMBERS GAME - OR - A PEOPLE BUSINESS?

After spending a number of frustrating years, trying to learn the concept of network marketing, and applying it, without any real success, I had the good fortune of stumbling across Michael Dlouhy, and Mentoring For Free.

I was ready to throw in the towel, but something told me to check out this FREE system of teaching people network marketing. The fact that it was completely FREE, and no companies or products were promoted did not hurt either. I admit to being skeptical at first, as I had been burned repeatedly in the past, but I soon learned, that there was no agenda, other than teaching people the skills needed for network marketing success.

The book the GoGiver was recommended for personel development, as was training with Napoleon Hills book.

I learned that network marketing is first and foremost a people business. People join people, with whom they have build a relationship. Therefore, the relationships you build with people in this business, should be nurtured with truthand integrity. When people know they can trust you, you have build relationships that will last a lifetime.

My friend and mentor, Michael Dlouhy will tell you: "Build people and people will build your business" andhe reminds us that we will always end with the truth coming out, so why not just start there.

Here is an excerpt from Michaels book "Success in 10 Steps", that will show you one of the reasons why network marketing is a people business:

Michael writes:

"We all have some ideas about who we are and what we stand for, wouldn't you agree?Because you're here and you don't know me, you deserve to know what kinda guy I am.

Actually, I couldn't tell you the things important to me, any better than Charles Schultz, the creator of the much-loved "Peanuts" cartoon series, did.

The following was written by the late Charles schultz and is a darn near perfect descriptionof how I view life in general.

"The Charles Schultz Philosophy!"

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.
3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America contest.
4. Name any ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer prize.
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor.
6. Name the last decade's World Series winners.

"How did you do?"

The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday.

These are no second-rate achhievers. They are the best in their fields. But the applause dies.Awards tarnish.

Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.

Anatomy of a Prospects Mind

Here is another quiz. See how you do on this one:

1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.
2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.
3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.
4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.
5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.
6. Name half a dozen heroes whose stories have inspired you.

"Easier?"

The big lesson:

The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards.

They are the ones who care.

Pass this on to those people who have made a difference in your life. And don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

Written by "Peanuts" Creator, Charles Schultz...The SAME man who couldn't get a cartoonist jobat The Disney Corporation...

Some "boss" at Disney told Charles he lacked talent and was not creative.

Key Point: Don't let others "label" you. Mr. Schultz didn't. Follow his lead. Follow your heart.Live your life for "YOU".
